Today we are calling a friend we haven't talked with in a while. I called my friend Marge, who I worked with at Invitrogen in San Diego from 1991-1993. I last saw her when I was in San Francisco for the Nike Women's Marathon in October, and it was great to catch up w/her then. Unfortunately, I had to leave a message for her (she didn't pick up) but hopefully she will call me back tonight so that we can chat. I miss her a lot and wish she lived closer to me (she lives in Half Moon Bay, CA).
