Yup, I wimped out. I was thinking of maybe doing a harder track workout this morning, but then it was pouring rain when I woke up. So I did 4 miles easy, instead. With the race on Saturday I wanted to take it easy this week anyway, but still, it was lame of me to wimp out.
Still, 4 miles in the rain isn't THAT wimpy, and I did it in about 42 minutes, which is pretty good for an easy day.
Tomorrow morning Diane and I are teaching another session of the racewalking clinic, so I've got to get up pretty early. I'm going to do an easy workout with a few fast 400s (at 10K pace, to prep for the race) before class starts at 6:15 am.
