Did NOT want to get out of bed. Did NOT want to do my 5K threshold workout. But I did it!!!
6 laps warm-up (211m each) in 8:30 or so, flexibility drills, then 5K at 85% max HR of about 160; completed it in 30:31 (actually 24 laps, or 5064m, so a bit longer than 5K, and average pace was 6:01 per km). 6 laps cool-down and stretch.
Now I'm really happy I got up and did it, because I do feel ever so much better. I'm still tired, but at least I'm functional. Don't know why I'm so tired; I got 7.5 hrs of decent sleep. I guess I just wanted another 30-60 minutes :). Maybe tonight.
