I did a speed workout today; it was the last hard workout before my half marathon on the 19th. Goal was 3x (1055m in 6:00, 422m in 2:19, 211m in 1:08), with 2 min rest in between each interval.
Reality:
1st set a bit fast.
1055m in 5:54, 422m in 2:15, 211m in 1:06.
2nd and 3rd sets were right on, almost exactly, or a second faster. It was hard on the last set to keep going, as my legs were tired, but I did it!
