Wednesday: 15 min racewalking to warm up, then weight training. We did a very inventive whole body workout that was quite the cardio workout too. Nice. I'm a bit sore today (legs) after doing this yesterday, but still feel pretty good.
Thursday: Did a tempo walk to get ready for Saturday's race (10-miler). Warmed up, did some flexibility drills, then 3 x 1 mile @ race pace (my goal is 10:15 per mile; ambitious, but I think I can do it!). I did them in 10:04, 10:10, and 10:12, and felt great.
