
Even though I prefer the outdoor pool, swimming to me is still pretty boring compared with racewalking...though maybe it is comparable to racewalking on a treadmill, which I really do not enjoy too much. Weird that looking at varied scenery makes such a difference to me, but it does, for whatever reason. I'm hoping I can get back to RW soon! Biking is good, swimming is merely tolerable, but RW is what I want to be doing.
My foot is feeling better today. I am not limping too much any more. In fact, after my swim, it felt really good and I didn't feel like I was limping at all. I'm quite eager to hear what the doctor has to say on Tuesday morning.

Also... I was reading back through your posts. You don't know what is wrong with your foot, or what exactly you did to injure it? It just started hurting after a track workout?
That simply sucks. I don't know about you, but I would rather I know the exact moment I was injured, rather than have to speculate until you get test results from the doctor.
I hope it is not serious.
Maryann - no, I have no idea what is wrong. Either a stress fracture or soft tissue damage. I also have no idea how I hurt it. It started hurting on Monday 8/24 during my 8-miler but I barely noticed it until afterward when I was sitting on the couch and felt achy crampy feelings in the bottom of my foot. Then at the track the next day I really noticed more. Weird. I also hope it is not too serious! And yes, I hate not knowing what is going on :(.
Well done on your swimming. That is something I just cant get the hand off. I breathe but in all the wrong places .... I have discovered that I am not part fish and cant breath under water. lol
I do hope you get to the bottom of what hurt your foot and that you heal fast and get back out on the road again.
