I did 8km this morning with Calvin (well, until 6.83km when he got too tired). It was really warm out for March, at 8.9C (48F), but it was raining lightly, then more heavily, then more lightly. It wasn't that bad though.
My legs felt great, but a little tired. I was sluggish at first, then felt a bit better later on. When Calvin quit I did a very fast 500m downhill in 2:59, and it felt good. Still not fast overall - just a bit slow at 6:33/km for 52:28 with ave HR a low 141. My left leg gave some twinges in the latter half of the workout but otherwise no problems, and no soreness at all later in the day. I feel like I could do it again tomorrow.
