Got in some hill and gravel road training for Portland-to-Coast today. The road was old asphalt with a layer of gravel on top. It was mostly ok for RW but a bit slip-slidey for toe push. Add in some good hills and it was a good workout. My legs, surprisingly, felt all right! A bit tired, but not sore despite 5k fartlek and 11k power hike yesterday. Happy about this - beyond happy, really, because I know I'm on the mend. I am starting to be able to train like my old self.
