we'll give it a shot
I'm going to give work a try for 2 months on the new schedule and see how it goes. Since I really like my job, it's worth a shot. We'll see if the extra day at home creates enough margin. I think it could, but I'm not sure if it will, so I will just try it and see. Thanks for your input :).

Good choice Tammy! It's a win-win situation - if you like it, you can stay and make more money. If you don't - you can dump it and stay home! :-) I think it's totally logical to try for a few more months (even though now I have to figure out what to do with my kids those 2 fridays in March)...
