We had enough people to do vocal ensemble tonight!!! Yeah!!! We had 2 sopranos, 2 altos, 1 tenor, and 2 basses. One of the basses won't be able to sing for church, but still - we have enough people to do it. Now we need to pray for everyone to stay healthy. Maybe I can talk Loren into singing tenor... he can't come to the rehearsal unless we get a babysitter, but I could work with him privately and then he could still sing.
Good. I'm excited for the advent season, especially the music from this group.
ReplyDeleteI've been waiting for you to post again so that I can comment and say how awesome the ensemble was/is. (Not to send you into a shame spiral about not posting - you don't have to post for us to love you.) It was such a joy to sing with the group on Sunday and I'm looking forward to this group. You are a great leader! You keep us on task but it's still fun.
